Miles Teller Will Play Baby Goose in The TOP GUN Sequel

On Tuesday, a new report from Variety reignited said interest when it claimed actor Miles Teller (Whiplash, War Dogs) would co-star alongside Cruise and Kilmer as the son of the former's deceased wingman, Goose (Anthony Edwards).

Miles Teller is reportedly playing Goose's son in "Top Gun: Maverick".

What do you think about Teller joining Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick? Following his death in 2012, it was revealed that the other parties involved were still interested in making the film, with Kosinski's involvement being announced in 2017. Cruise is reprising his role as Maverick in the sequel. Bradley will be Maverick's new protégé, with the movie expected to be set "in a world of drone technology and fifth generation fighters [which] will explore the end of the era of dogfighting".

How excited you'll be about all this will depend on how excited you are about Miles Teller in general, or the idea of a Top Gun sequel.
