Second Harvest, mail carriers work to Stamp Out Hunger

We are asking the community to help us by donating canned food items through the Letter Carriers' Food Drive.

On Saturday, postal carries collected donated non-perishable food left outside residential mailboxes. The Chester donations are given to the Chester County Ministerial Association's Community Food Pantry at Purity Presbyterian Church, to the Turning Point and other assistance agencies with food pantries. They say the goal for this year is 50,000 pounds of food.

Richard Hatzenbuhler says, "It feels great to help out the community".
