The Wisconsin man celebrated his achievement at the McDonald's on Military Road in Fond Du Lac.

The last day he didn't have a Big Mac was Thanksgiving Day in 2011, when McDonald's was closed and he thought he had a burger in the freezer.

Don Gorske holds the world record for "Most Big Macs Consumed" and now, he's hit a milestone: his 30,000th Big Mac. On Friday, he reaffirmed that love when he chowed down on his 30,000th order. Gorske ate his record-setting burger at the same McDonald's franchise where he had the first taste of the menu in the early 1970s.

A pamphlet chronicling Gorske's hamburger habit offers a hint of why he's so devoted, according to Detroit television station WXYZ. Big Macs account for 90 to 95 percent of his diet.

Judge in Manafort case pushes back on prosecutors
The judge's questions suggested he was impatient with Breeden and the three prosecutors sitting at the table. Manafort's team won't have access to the unredacted version of the memo.

Gorske said he's eaten at least one Big Mac nearly every day since May 17, 1972. Among the other Big Mac-related facts he knows is the date that McDonald's switched from lettuce leaves to shredded lettuce - February 10, 1999. USA Today reports that he has thousands of receipts, sandwich wrappers, and containers.

Gorske thought he had a Big Mac saved in the freezer, but was mistaken.

He's been eating Big Macs since 1972 when he bought his first one. That includes a 1982 day in which a snowstorm shut down the restaurant, as well as the day his mom died in 1998.
