Romeo Langford will play college basketball at Indiana

The New Albany senior boys' basketball All-American announced Monday evening that he will attend IN, much to the delight of the pro-Hoosiers crowd assembled at the Doghouse.

With thousands in attendance to witness the decision of Langford, the No. 6 ranked player in the 2018 class, in won out over Kansas and Vanderbilt. He averaged 35.5 points per game as a senior, along with 9.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists and three steals.

Several speakers took to the podium before Langford's announcement, including Romeo's father Tim, New Albany athletic director Don Unruh and New Albany Coach Jim Shannon.

It was noted before speakers began at the ceremony on Monday at New Albany that Langford would, as usual, stay after to sign autographs.

Langford is set to announce his college choice tomorrow night.
