J.Cole To Release "New Album KOD 4/20" This Week

It might not seem like it, but it's been a minute since J. Cole had a new album out.

Shortly after the show ended, J. Cole announced on Twitter that he will be releasing a new album on Friday April 20 titled KOD. No additional details about the show were given except no phones, or bags were allowed inside.

Following the announcement, he changed his profile pic, background and Instagram avatar leading fans to suspect that he was about to drop a new project. "I will be featured on J Cole's album", he said to his followers earlier tonight.

KOD marks the follow-up to 2016's 4 Your Eyez Only, which debuted at No. 1 with 492,000 album equivalent units.

No further information was made available from the Dreamville camp, but Rap Radar's B. Dot tweeted some insight on what to expect from the next release that B. Dot says was recorded in two weeks.
