Comey may be many things, but is he really a liar?

President Donald Trump fired off a barrage of angry tweets early Sunday morning, directing much of his ire at the the former head of the FBI, whom he called "the WORST FBI Director in history, by far!"

"3 presidents are in my book: 2 help illustrate the values at the heart of ethical leadership; 1 serves as a counterpoint", he wrote. Comey says that Trump asked for his loyalty, and that he wanted him to go easy on Michael Flynn, at a moment when Trump may have known that Flynn had committed a crime by lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Hours before the interview was shown, the president, who sacked Mr Comey a year ago, unleashed a Twitter outburst that labelled him "slippery", suggested he should be put in jail and branded him "the WORST FBI Director in history, by far!"

The poll also revealed that 49 percent of voters say a special prosecutor should be named to investigate whether senior FBI officials under then-Director Comey handled the investigations of Hillary Clinton and Trump in a legal and unbiased fashion during the 2016 presidential campaign and subsequent transition, the release said. The memo criticized Comey for his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation - specifically for his July 2016 press conference at which he announced the findings of the FBI investigation, and his October 28, 2016, letter to Congress stating that the investigation had been reopened due to the discovery of additional emails.

The president also seemed to be responding to the FBI raid on and court-authorized search of the office of his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, who authorities said has been under criminal investigation for months.

"He had impressively coiffed hair, his tie was too long as it always is, he looked slightly orange up close with small white half-moons under his eyes, which I assume are from tanning goggles", he said.

He added: "But you can not have, as president of the United States, someone who does not reflect the values that I believe Republicans treasure and Democrats treasure and independents treasure".

Allen noted that Comey repeated almost the same phrasing in a USA Today interview, in which he called Trump "someone who is able to see moral equivalence in Charlottesville or to speak and treat women like they're pieces of meat and to lie constantly".

Comey also said that serving in Trump's administration poses a serious ethical dilemma.

Comey added that he thinks its "possible" Russian Federation has compromising material on Trump, albeit "unlikely". And I was devastated when she lost, ' she added. "I think he's morally unfit to be president", Mr Comey replied.

On Monday, it emerged that Trump saw portions of Comey's interview.

Comey said that he would not favour impeaching Trump, because that "would let the American people off the hook" and the public was "duty bound" to vote Trump out of office in the next election.

"Comey's PR tour reaffirms that his true higher loyalty is to himself, " she wrote.

"So I worry sometimes people think I'm talking about politics".

Comey's remarks, coupled with the coming release of his book, offer his version of events surrounding his firing and the investigations into Russian election meddling and Hillary Clinton's email practices.

Stephanopoulos pushed him on the question, saying "That's stunning".

"I honestly never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but I don't know whether the ― the ― current president of the United States was with prostitutes peeing on each other in Moscow in 2013", Comey said.
