Baltimore Ravens Interested in Signing Dez Bryant

The Ravens might be able to spare Bryant from a wandering quest for employment by acting quickly on their desires and convincing him Baltimore is a worthy stage for the second act of his National Football League career. While the Texans play the Cowboys twice this season (preseason and regular season), most believe he's referring to the Giants, Eagles or Redskins - divisional opponents.

Bryant said he wants to play for an NFC East team so he can play against his former team the Dallas Cowboys twice a year, however reports have surfaced that none of those three other teams are interested.

Releases from the Dallas Cowboys after 8 seasons, majority successful although not much recently, Bryant is rumored to be hoping to get offers from the New York Giants, Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles or the Washington Redskins. But he may have found a suitor in the AFC.

It's not likely that Dez Bryant will remain a free agent for long, and the top team on the shortlist of those looking to sign him is the Baltimore Ravens, although Bryant himself might prefer, for now, to stay in the NFC East. Bryant, known as being a deep threat, could become that for strong-armed Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.

Bryant was released from the Cowboys due to the potential cap hit, which was $17 million last season.

"Predictably, the Ravens have interest in him, sources confirmed". Last year, he caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns. This has given him the opportunity to filter through his options to find the best fit for him in the next chapter of his career. Seeing the Rams quickly become an attractive team for players to join with their increased odds to win the Super Bowl has been truly unbelievable to witness, but when it comes to Dez Bryant, this is a move that seems unnecessary to even consider.
