Severe Weather Threat Continues This Evening

The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for several counties in the Lowcountry ahead of severe weather expected into the evening.

A spring-like weekend will close with a risk for strong to severe storms late Sunday as a strong cold front swings through the Cape Fear Region. I may update this blog post later today and/or early Sunday but will not be posting during the day or evening Sunday. What is expected to be widespread is heavy rain - 1-2 inches locally more.

A rain and sleet mixture will fall in the valleys and an icy glaze and sleet showers will occur in the higher elevations both east and west of the river. Lows around 68. Wind S 10-20 miles per hour.
