Facebook Stories will now add Instagram's Boomerang feature and AR drawings

Any photos or videos you add to your Stories will appear on both Facebook and Messenger, and will be shared with the same audience across both.

The company has also added AR drawings to the Stories section allowing users to draw doodles in 3D.

The new feature is named as 3D drawing and it allows a user to create various shapes and also write text on the videos shot by the Facebook camera before or at the time of video recording.

Instagram had recently copied the Snapchat to add the signature Stories feature, now it is Facebook that has adopted the same. Whatever you draw also stays static and does not disappear even if you move the camera away.

The second tool launched by the social media behemoth is Boomerang.

The feature is only available with a gradient brush as it rolls out over the next few weeks, but Facebook plans to add more brushes.

Facebook is giving stories a boost by rolling out AR doodles and Instagram's Boomerang to its camera feature suite, Tech Crunch reports.

For optimal effect, it only wraps drawings around objects if it is confident about the object that it has detected.

The details of this feature are yet to be finalized and Instagram did not go into any detail at the moment. That feature has not been updated yet and it is now getting polished with a whole new look.
