PUBG Has Tweaked Blue Zone Speed In New Update

This tweak will make players think of a strategy, tactically moving between the blue zone and the safe zone rather than hiding in the grass.

PUBG Corp, the developers behind the massively popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), have released the patch notes for PC Update #10. You'll be given less time to linger between phases.

PUBG has also adjusted settings so that safe zones favors land rather than water, reducing the chances that players will be stranded on islands at the end. Damage dealt by being outside the blue zone has been left mostly untouched, except for the final three blue zones of the match, which do more damage than they did before.

Elsewhere, PUBG update 10 tinkers around with the Miramar map, specifically the northern part of the battleground, in order to 'make it more appealing.' As such, travel has been facilitated by the addition of more roads, off-road paths, and auto spawning locations, while the Oasis is now found in the north area and a new village has set up shop in the northwest.

Yesterday, PUBG Corp pushed a new update to the Steam version of the game, detailing their changes in a post.

Miramar is Coming to PUBG Xbox One Test Servers Later This Month

Except for the first blue zone, the probability of creating an extreme safe zone (one far away from the center of the previous circle) has been reduced by 30%.

Safe zones will also appear on Erangel the original PUBG Battlegrounds' map.

Do you agree with the blue zone changes?

In-game clothing spawns have been removed from all maps.
