Bengals swap first-round picks with Bills for LT Cordy Glenn

The Bills will receive the No. 12 overall pick and the Bengals' fifth-round pick (No. 158), while the Bengals will receive the No. 21 overall pick and the Bills' sixth-round pick (No. 187).

The Bills are sending the #21 overall pick and Glenn to the Bengals.

Buffalo now owns the 12th and 22nd selections in the 2018 draft.

After letting Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Zeitler leave in free agency a year ago, the Bengals offensive line was a total disaster in 2017. Dion Dawkins, a rookie second-round pick, started the 11 games Glenn didn't.

Glenn is entering the third season of a five-year, $65 million contract he signed in May 2016. Neither have successfully held on to a starting job in the three years since, and the team appears to be giving up on the endeavor.

Liverpool, Man United, Real Madrid target will stay at Leipzig
The interest from the Red Devils is, thus, a bit surprising, unless Mourinho is considering deploying Werner in the wide areas. While he also added: "Next year, definitely, I will stay in Leipzig".

After trading away Tyrod Taylor to the Cleveland Browns last Friday, general manager Brandon Beane made yet another trade that puts the Bills in great position for the draft.

Despite any concerns about Glenn's durability, he's a sensible addition for the Bengals after their offensive line was an area of weakness in 2017. The upside for the Bengals is that if Glenn doesn't get healthy or doesn't work out in Cincinnati, they can release him after the 2018 season without taking a cap hit.

According to Spotrac, Buffalo also frees up $4.85 million in salary cap space with the Glenn trade. the team now has a little over $39.7 million to spend this offseason.

The 28-year-old Glenn has been Buffalo's starting left tackle since entering the National Football League as a second-round pick in 2012 but a foot injury limited him to six games last season.

The Bills set themselves up to possibly get their franchise quarterback in the draft.
