Air Canada computer issues force flight cancellation at Victoria airport

Air Canada is reporting a problem at its customer contact centres, preventing customers from checking in for a flight or booking a flight.

Air Canada says the problem has been fixed, but passengers should continue to expect delays.

Many departing flights out of YVR are now being delayed.

Air Canada is Canada´s largest domestic and global airline serving more than 200 airports on six continents.

Air Canada has announced it will launch daily, seasonal flights between Calgary and Palm Springs, and between Edmonton and Las Vegas starting October 28, 2018, the company said.
