Stoke manager target confirms he will stay at Espanyol

Stoke City have been dealt a blow in their search for a new manager after Quique Sanchez Flores made a decision to remain at Espanyol.

I have all I need. "I am the coach and will continue to be until the end of the season", said Flores.

However the name that appeared at the top of the clubs wanted list was Espanol manager Quique Sánchez Flores. "I'm well and quite happy with my situation".

O'Neill emerged as a contender for the Stoke job after they sacked Mark Hughes earlier this month following a shock FA Cup defeat to League Two Coventry. "I don't have to explain anything else".

Jennifer Lopez to Return to 'Will & Grace' in Two Different Roles
The original cast and director also returned for the reboot, keeping the wittiness and integrity of the series alive. No further details about her arc or the air date for her appearance on the newly-revived sitcom have been released.

'We feel happy. We are in a happy place and we don't want to break that up'.

The Ireland manager also met with Stoke officials this week and appeared to be the front runner for the role, in a deal that would also see assistant Roy Keane move with him, before Sanchez Flores jumped ahead of him in the reckoning.

The club were willing to pay £1.7million to release No 1 target Gary Rowett from his contract with Derby, but the former Birmingham manager instead signed a new deal with the high-flying Championship side.

They had hoped to announce the hire on Friday but negotiations dragged on, meaning he is likely to watch Monday night's game with Manchester United from the stands rather than the touchline.
