Bournemouth come from behind to beat lacklustre Arsenal

Bournemouth heaped more misery on Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, as they recovered from a goal down to win 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium.

But did anyone impress for Arsenal?

Hector Bellarin gave the Gunners the lead early in the second half, but Callum Wilson and Jordon Ibe responded to condemn the Gunners to defeat on the south coast.

The goal came when Fraser and substitute Lys Mousset swapped passes down the right and Callum Wilson was in the right place to turn home the cross.

An Arsenal defence including Mustafi, Rob Holding and Calum Chambers did well against Chelsea in midweek but they always had the potential to look shaky and they did at times against Bournemouth.

Bournemouth were perhaps quite unfortunate not to be awarded a penalty before the break as Iwobi looked to have moved his arm towards the ball from a corner.

There was a much clearer claim for a spot-kick moments later in the Arsenal area when Alex Iwobi handled Ibe's free-kick but referee Kevin Friend decided the contact was unintentional. The Gunners had warnings prior to the goal, with Ibe and Fraser forcing stops from Petr Cech, but the Arsenal 'keeper then did poor as Eddie Howe's side made it 1-1.

Callum Wilson equalized in the 70th minute for Bournemouth before setting up Jordon Ibe for the victor in the 74th minute, intensifying Arsenal's problems in what could be developing into another crisis under Arsene Wenger.

"He doesn't, he goes to sleep, it falls to Ibe and it's 2-1".

Furthermore, Bournemouth have conceded in each of their last nine Premier League matches - the second-worst ongoing run in the division - and have only ever won one of their 13 Premier League games played on a Sunday.
