Manchester United interested in PSG's Lucas Moura

Jose Mourinho wants somebody to add width to their gameplay and views the electric pace and vision of Moura as a solution for United's problems in the area.

Manchester United have held talks over signing Paris Saint Germain winger Lucas Moura.

Manchester United have now reignited their interest in the 25-year-old who has been given a limited playing time in Paris and who is said to be keen on a move that could help him boost his chances of making it into the Brazil World Cup squad next summer.

According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Moura has reached an agreement with United but the two clubs are yet to reach a deal.

Reliable sources in France this morning (Le Parisien) claimed PSG were holding out for 40 million euros for the Brazilian.

Owing to a lack of game time and with the World Cup in Russian Federation on the horizon, Lucas Moura would be willing to consider his options and gather some hope of featuring for his country again.

And Collet-Guadin has posted on his Twitter feed that the player "has agreed to go to Manchester United".

It now remains to be seen if United and PSG can agree terms.

Moura has fallen out-of-favour under Unai Emery this season and is yet to start a single Ligue 1 game with all six of his appearances so far this campaign coming from the bench.

PSG would certainly be open to allowing Moura to depart the French capital if a suitable offer could be made to ensure a permanent switch, but United are supposedly adamant that a loan deal is the best idea for both parties at this current stage.

And, under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, Lucas Moura could well impress in the Premier League.
