Here's presenting Ranveer Singh as 'Simmba'

Sharing the first poster of Simmba through social media platform, Karan Johar also announced the release date of the film. Ranveer Singh-starrer Simmba will now release on December 28.

It's been quite long since Rohit Shetty manifested an interest in a remake of Superhit movie Ram Lakhan, where Anil Kapoor was in the lead role.

It is likely that the actor-director duo will set our scenes on fires with their energy and full-of-life personas.

The film will go on floors next year and is slated to hit theatres on 28th December 2018. He captioned it, "SANGRAM BHALERAO aka #Simmba! The heroine of the film is not yet finalised, we will start working on it after Diwali", said Shetty in an earlier interview, according to a DNA report.

What looks different is the colour popping poster of the film like a vintage art-poster.
