SmackDown Live viewership see big decrease

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been wreaking havoc on SmackDown Live for months, but now they're starting to learn that there are consequences to their actions.

The celebration was cut short, however, after The Viper smoothly slid into the ring and nailed Owens with an RKO out of nowhere which sent Zayn into shock.

The following matches are advertised for the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view, which will be held on December 17 in Boston, Massachusetts at TD Garden.

Also on Smackdown, the team of Rusev and Aiden English earned an impressive victory over The New Day after English had performed a rendition of "Twelve Days of Rusev".

Flair will defend her SmackDown Women's Championship against Natalya in a Lumberjack match and Owens & Zayn will team up to fight Orton and a partner of his choosing (possibly Shinsuke Nakamura) with Shane McMahon as the special guest referee in a career-threatening match. Rusev knocked Kofi Kingston off the ropes when Kofi attempted a springboard, then hit a side kick to the back of the head and got the pin.

Despite the low viewership, the show progressed the storylines for Clash of Champions and announced two matches for the Clash of Champions pay-per-view.

Also, the Smackdown Women's Championship Match between champion Charlotte Flair and Natalya has been made a lumberjack match.
