According to Campea, "The Batman" won't be a reboot - it'll simply be of a case of switching one actor for another, but still continuing on with the journey of the Batman/Bruce Wayne we first met in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

We will see how people react to this choice and how much people are attached to Ben Affleck but what we do know is that Jake Gyllenhaal has not been locked down for the role yet.

Gyllenhaal auditioned for the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman when casting began for Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, but ultimately lost out to Christian Bale. As I'm pretty sure of the movie makes a lot of money at the Box Office they will probably try to do more to hold onto Affleck as the caped crusader. The further details operate under the same belief that Gyllenhaal will take on the role if Affleck leaves, but since Gyllenhaal is younger, the focus on this Batman being older will be lessened. The Hollywood Reporter additionally asserted in July that DC was hoping to "usher Affleck out of the role graciously."However, earlier this year, Affleck denied the rumours -: "Let me be clear. You don't do it forever, so I want to find a graceful and cool way to segue out of it". Justice League is set to hit theaters this November and it's going to be massive. "I remain extremely committed to this project, and look forward to bringing this to life for fans around the world", explained Affleck.
